With three decades of practice, Tim Salvatore still enjoys battling for his clients. He used to represent insurance companies. But saving insurance companies money to the detriment of injured people proved to be thoroughly dissatisfying, distasteful work. He missed the sense of purpose he had as a counselor prior to law school: he missed the satisfaction of knowing that he was making a positive difference in the lives of his clients. He made up for his dissatisfaction by providing pro bono representation to veterans seeking veterans’ service-connected compensation benefits through the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program. When the opportunity to regain that sense of purpose arose, he seized the opportunity and joined KBG – more than two decades ago.
He takes great pride in providing good counsel (sometimes just a friendly ear) and zealous advocacy for his clients. His practice is focused on representing injured people, their families, and their estates in complex injury claims involving severe injuries and death. He has a particular interest in representing people who have suffered brain injuries – from concussions to serious traumatic brain injuries. As a rider, he has a special interest in representing his fellow motorcyclists. Getting to know his clients on a personal level is one of the most enjoyable aspects of his practice.
A native of York, Tim graduated from Widener University School of Law in 1995. Following law school, he served as a clerk to the Honorable John Kennedy of the York County Court of Common Pleas. He is a member of the York County Bar Association - where he serves as co-chairman of the Local Civil Rules Committee and Arbitration Committee, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Justice (formerly the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association). He has also provided more than 20 years of public service with York Township, where he resides, as a citizen member of the Zoning Hearing Board and, previously, the Planning Commission. In recognition of that commitment, he was recently awarded his 20-year service pin for helping guide responsible property development in accordance with township ordinances. Tim earned an “AV-Preeminent” rating, the highest rating offered by the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating process. And, he has been admitted to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
