Attorney Gannon wins Supreme Court Victory for Injured Worker
The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania recently decided that a local stone mason who had injured his shoulder during his employment was entitled to a significantly higher weekly wage rate than originally calculated by his employer, which had diluted the wages by including lengthy periods of layoff. The case was litigated before a Workers’ Compensation Judge, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, and the Commonwealth Court, before ultimately being decided by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
