Attorney Brian P. Strong of KBG was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for 4th Congressional District Internship Association

The 4th Congressional District Internship Association (formerly the 19th District Internship Association) was created in 1977 as a community involvement, good government initiative to provide financial sponsorship for college students from the 4th Congressional District of Pennsylvania to work in the offices of our Congressman each summer. Internships give students a chance to be a part of government in action, with opportunities to attend hearings, draft response to constituent letters and research issues, as well as to provide staff support services. Since its inception in 1977, the internship program has been extremely successful in annually sending a significant number of enthusiastic students to Washington for a first-class, first-hand experience with their government.

Attorney Strong served as an intern through this association under former Congressmen Bill Goodling in the summer of 1989 and credits that experience with helping him decide to pursue a career in the law.
