The mission of Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania, Inc. (Kids’ Chance of PA) is to provide scholarship grants for college and vocational education to children of Pennsylvania workers who have been killed or seriously injured in a work-related accident resulting in financial need. The hardships created by the death or serious disability of a parent often include financial ones, making it difficult for deserving young people to pursue their educational dreams.
Pink Power is an organization that raises money and awareness for local breast cancer patients in need and brings people together to celebrate survivors and share stories of hope.
The Hawaii Community Foundation inspires generosity, advocate for equity, forges connections and invests in community to create a better Hawai‘i.

Founded in 1999, the Cultural Alliance of York County is South Central Pennsylvania’s only United Arts Fund. The Cultural Alliance of York County is a nonprofit envisioning a thriving York County where the arts are an integral component of economic growth and development, tourism, education, and everyday life.

Catholic Harvest Food Pantry is gearing up for YorkGiving: Thanksgiving Edition. This year, we anticipate distributing approximately 1,500 Thanksgiving meal boxes to families in need in York County. Boxes include a turkey and all the trimmings for a complete Thanksgiving meal. The goal is that families can prepare and serve the meal at home.
The YorkGiving meal distribution will take place on Saturday, November 19th, and Sunday, November 20th, at the York Fairgrounds. We will need approximately 300 volunteers to help with set-up, distribution, and delivery of meals. Volunteer sign-ups will open on October 24th. To sign up, please visit us at www.yorkgiving.com.

KBG was once again a Gold Sponsor of the York Jaycees Baked Potato Stand at the York Fair. This event is the biggest fundraiser for the York Jaycees and enables them to give up to $15,000 per year in financial aid to non-profit organizations in the York Community.
On June 13, KBG participated in the Elizabethtown Rotary Golf Major at the Conestoga Country Club in Lancaster. The event featured golf, food, and a silent auction. All proceeds of the golf tournament went towards combating the opioid crisis within the county.

What is Autism Speaks?
Autism Speaks works to promote solutions for individuals with Autism, as well as their families through understanding and acceptance, advocacy and support, and researching causes and interventions for the autism spectrum and related conditions.
History of Autism Speaks
Autism Speaks was founded by Bob and Suzanne Wright in February 2005 with the help of Bernie Marcus who donated $25 million to assist in the launch of the organization. Since their start, Autism Coalition for Research and Education (ACRE), the National Alliance for Autism Research (NAAR) and Cure Autism Now (CAN) merged with Autism Speaks to make advances in the autism community. This organization has worked to increase global awareness and understanding of the autism spectrum to increase overall access to care and support.
Grace Words Christian Academy is holding a Christmas banquet on December 14th. Students of the Academy cater the event as they share food, entertainment and gifts with the homeless around York. All proceeds directly benefit Charlotte's Pantry, the York City food bank that has served the area for more than 25 years.

Kids' Chance of Pennsylvania is dedicated to helping our kids who need it most - those who need assistance for college or vocational education, because a parent was killed or injured in a work-related accident.
Kids' Chance will be hosting hosted its annual Golf Outing and Recognition Event on June 6, 2018 at the Hershey Country Club. This event helps raise needed funds for scholarships and gives us a chance to recognize our generous donors, such as Katherman, Briggs & Greenberg, LLP. Each year student scholarship recipients are invited to join us for the event and to speak about how Kids' Chance has affected their lives. Susquehanna Service Dogs (SSD) is a program of Keystone Human Services, a 501c3 non-profit organization. SSD was founded in 1993 and has placed over 250 working teams of individuals and their dogs throughout Central Pennsylvania and beyond. Susquehanna Service Dogs is a fully accredited member of Assistance Dogs International.
The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nationwide voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer. Established in 1913, the society is organized into eleven geographical divisions of both medical and lay volunteers operating in more than 900 offices throughout the United States.
Since their founding in 1998 they have sought to be good stewards of God’s blessings and have diligently worked to fulfill the tenants of our vision and mission. They provide faith-based services and supports for individuals and families with autism and intellectual disabilities. They seek to be a community which affirms the worth of all people, supports personal growth and wholeness, advocates for community and church inclusion, and provides opportunities for spiritual growth and service.
The members of the fire department are proud to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) whose goal is finding a cure for Muscular Dystrophy, ALS (LouGehrig's disease) and related neuromuscular diseases. The York Professional Fire Fighters have worked with MDA for many years to fight these diseases with their "Fill the Boot" campaign. They collect donations from pedestrians and motorists at various locations in the city.
On Veteran's Day 2017 (November 11th), the York County Department of Veterans Affairs hosted a breakfast for veterans and their families. SSG Travis Mills, retired U.S. Army, recalibrated warrior (paraplegic) was the keynote speaker. They estimated 1,500 veterans/families would attend the breakfast.
