RJ Fisher

For more than 12 years, RJ, a York County native, has practiced criminal law throughout Central Pennsylvania. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2011, RJ returned home and was hired by the York County District Attorney's Office in 2012. During his tenure at the York DA's Office, RJ handled and tried hundreds of cases allowing him to refine his litigation skills and become an effective trial advocate. RJ transitioned from the District Attorney's Office in the fall of 2017, at which time he joined the Ferro Law Firm and began his career in criminal defense. RJ left the Ferro Law Firm in October of 2025 to join Katherman, Briggs & Greenberg where he now practices plaintiff personal injury cases while continuing to handle criminal defense matters.
Since beginning his career in private practice, RJ has maintained a client focused approach and has been awarded Avvo's Client Choice Award in 2018, 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025. RJ believes being trial ready ensures the best results can be achieved in any case and prides himself on his ability to litigate complex issues and effectively present them to a judge or jury. This is why RJ has been named to The National Trial Lawyers Top 100, a national organization made up of the top 100 trial lawyers from each state. Membership is extended through special invitation to those attorneys that meet the organization's very stringent criteria. RJ is an active member of the Pennsylvania and York County Bar Associations. RJ previously served as one of the co-chairs for the York County Bar Association Mock Trial Committee, tasked with coordinating the county-wide High School Mock Trial Competition. RJ lives in York with his wife, Liliana, and his two dogs, Pearl and Zorro.
